Pelleted Grower/Finisher Swine Feed (Medicated)
For the removal of: Lungworms: (Metastrongylus apri, Metastrongylus pudendotectus). Gastrointestinal worms: Adult and larvae (L3, L4 stages, liver, lung, intestinal forms) large roundworm (Ascaris suum); nodular (Oesophagostomum dentatum, Ornithrostrongylus quadrispinulatum); small stomach (Hyostrongylus rubidus); Adult and larvae (L2, 3, 4 stages intestinal mucosal forms); whipworm (Trichuris suis). Kidney worm Adult and larvae Stephanurus dentatus.
Feeding Directions:
This feed should be fed at the rate of 3 pounds of feed per hundred pounds of body weight for 5 consecutive days. (Examples: 100-pound pig will receive 3 pounds of feed per day for 5 consecutive days) to provide 4 mg/lb. of body weight over a period of 5 days.
Limitations:
Feed as sole ration in complete feed for a period of from 3-12 days to provide a total intake of 9 mg/kg of bodyweight. No withdrawal time needed.
Caution:
Under conditions of continued exposure to parasites, retreatment may be needed after 4-6 weeks. Consult veterinarian for assistance in the diagnosis, treatment, and control of parasitism. Do not feed sheep due to copper levels in this feed.
Always provide a source of fresh clean water, and free choice minerals. When making changes in an animal’s diet, allow a 7 to 10-day transition period. Provide ample feeder space for livestock. Do not feed wet, moldy, or insect infested feed.
