This is a textured all stock feed with 15% protein and a higher-than-average energy content. It is suitable for cattle, sheep, goats, deer and swine. Given that it is textured and contains some ground ingredients such as alfalfa meal, it is a bit dustier than some other feeds and it may take a few days to acclimate animals to it. Animals generally acclimate and consume all parts of this feed but may select out some larger particles and leave the dustier parts for a few days.
Feeding Directions:
Feed to all classes of livestock. Feed at a rate of 1 to 3% of body weight to cattle, sheep, goats and horses. Feed free choice to growing swine or from 6-15 pounds to adult swine depending on stage of production and weigth. Always feed with a free choice forage source and a free choice to ruminants and horses. Always provide free choice minerals, vitamins and clean water. Never feed wet or moldy feed.
Caution:
Always provide a source of fresh clean water, and free choice minerals. As you make changes to animal’s diet, allow a 7 to 10-day transition period. Provide ample feeder space for livestock. Do not feed wet, moldy, or insect infested feed.
