This is a 13% protein, high energy feed that provides a great deal of value for the cost. It can also be used as a finishing feed when fed at higher rates to growing cattle.
Brood Cow Supplement is a textured feed that contains multiple energy and protein sources, cottonseed hulls to slow passage rate and improve absorption, as well as vitamins and chelated trace minerals.
Brood Cow Supplement contains Steam Flaked Corn for maximum energy digestion. This high energy level allows Brood Cow Supplement to be fed at a low rate to save you money. It is designed to be fed in conjunction with your hay and Stimu-lyx tubs, late in the feed season to give you that extra energy boost your cows need. Feed at a rate of 3-7 pounds per head per day.
Brood Cow Supplement has 13% protein and a high energy level, which makes it very flexible to feed cattle in all stages of growth. Hand feeding calves to growing bulls and heifers, or finishing cattle.
Feeding Directions:
This feed can be provided to all classes of cattle at a rate of no greater than 2% of body weight.
Caution:
Always provide a source of fresh clean water, and free choice minerals. As you make changes to animal’s diet, allow a 7 to 10-day transition period. Provide ample feeder space for livestock. Do not feed wet, moldy, or insect infested feed.
