Feed Horizon Equi-Lyx to horses on all types of rations to provide supplemental nutrients when fed along with grain and roughage. Place tub(s) in a dry location near the animal’s source of water, salt, mineral, or loafing area. Consumption will vary depending on animal size, stage of production, quality, source, and availability of roughage and/or grains; number of animals per tub and tub location.

To increase consumption, decrease the number of animals per tub, or place tubs away from the normal loafing area. To reduce consumption increase the number of animals per tub, or place tubs away from the normal loafing area.
To feed, remove the plastic cover and score surface several times with a knife to encourage initial consumption. Do not stack anything on top of this tub without placing a slip sheet or wooden pallet between the tubs. Do not stack more than 2 tubs high.
