Textured Mature Horse Feed

Feeding Directions:

Feed to horses at the rate of .5 to 1.5 lbs. per 100 lbs. bodyweight depending on the quality and quantity of other feedstuffs available and the intended use of the horse. Do not feed free choice to any animal. Provide good quality hay or pasture.

Caution:
lways provide a fresh source of clean water, salt and free choice minerals at all times. When making any change in an animal’s diet, plan a 7 to 10-day transition period. Do not allow feed to stay in feeder for a period of longer than 3 days. When feeding large amounts of this feed (over 5 pounds per day) split the feeding amount into two different feedings to reduce the incidence of colic. Poorly managed feeding programs can lead to nutritional disorders.

Warning:
Do not feed to sheep due to copper levels in this feed.
